The article, featured on the website and in the society’s newsletter, exposes unique jobseeker tactics geared toward making a memorable impression with a potential employer. Villalba’s contribution focused on making a professional and positive impact with your approach, and cautioned against making yourself look foolish. He emphasized the importance of careful preparation, having a perfectly polished resume, and thinking outside the box when deciding what employers to pursue.

The National Society for Hispanic Professionals (www.NSHP.org), in conjunction with diversity job board LatPro (www.LatPro.com), will conclude its 2008 diversity career fair series with a multicultural fair in San Jose, California. The final 2008 event will be held at the San Jose Doubletree Hotel on Thursday, November 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Wall Street Journal recently interviewed LatPro as an expert source on Latinos in professional leadership roles for it’s article Latinos get a leg up on the leadership ladder.
