Legal Internship
Location: Washington DC

Internship Length: 3 months
Position Purpose:
Provide support to the Legal group at T-Mobile. Duties include maintaining litigation database, assisting with discovery requests, legal research, handling of customer issues, and preparation of affidavits, correspondence and legal documents. You will have an opportunity to work with various lawyers and subject matter areas including: Product Development, IT, Marketing, Sales, HR, Customer Care, and Engineering & Systems Development.
Duties & Essential Job Functions
- Legal research and writing, drafting presentations to be used in meetings with federal agencies, and preparation of correspondence and legal documents.
- Work with various Federal and State Regulatory and Legislative attorneys on diverse subject matter areas including: interconnection, universal service, spectrum licensing, IP applications, content regulation, and consumer protection.

Position Requirements:
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be a team player with great intradepartmental skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and innovative work environment.
- Strong working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to contribute feedback and make suggestions for improvement.
Education & Experience:
- The Intern must be currently obtaining a law degree (2nd Year JD's preferred).
- Some law-related work experience is helpful but not necessary.
- Accounting and Finance classes are a plus.
- Knowledge of the wireless industry is desirable.
- Internships are paid positions.
- Relocation is not offered.
