We are seeking a Director, Support Services .In this role you will be responsible for acting as the Human Resources liaison and facilitator for AARP Services, Inc. (ASI) in consultation with AARP's Human Resources Department and Organization Learning Group, including but are not limited to, position management control, performance management, compensation, recruitment, relocation, new employee orientation, benefits, employee relations, and training and professional development. In addition, you will interfaces with AARP on facilities support, real estate/space planning, and technology requirements. In this role you will be charged with enhancing organizational effectiveness and efficiencies by formulating and executing strategies across ASI, utilizing all resources (human, technological, space) to optimal levels. In addition, the incumbent will cultivate and leverage working relationships with AARP counterparts to enhance overall success of the ASI organization and achievement of its dashboard goals. Finally, you will provide advice and counsel to ASI senior leadership on all HR-related and infrastructure issues and you will be the go-to person for all ASI staff on HR-related and infrastructure questions/concerns.

Requirements |
BS/BA; Master's degree preferred.
15+ years of management experience preferred and at least 10-15 years of experience in managing HR-related activities.
Excellent interpersonal
Must have highly developed and proven skills in communications, negotiations, problem solving, leadership, and coaching/mentoring.
Ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing. Experienced presenter/public speaker.
Experience in both non-profits/associations and for-profits is strongly preferred.
Strong business acumen and must be proficient with numbers/financial management.
Ability to quickly master AARP's strategic issues and directions.
